Lake St. Louis Mother's Club

Where Did We Come From?

In 1976, a group of mothers formed an organization called "Preschoolers." They started with approximately nine moms and grew to 14 the second year. The main purpose of the group was to establish a babysitting co-op.

In 2002, the club elected to change it's name to "The Lake Saint Louis Mothers Club." This name change was made to help new mothers arriving in our community identify us & outside organizations to understand better who we are.

At this time we are no longer offering the babysitting co-op. We do, however. have an active playgroup that gets together most Fridays at the CA Clubhouse.

The LSL Mothers Club has three objectives as outlined in our bylaws. These bylaws are now considered our Mission Statement:
  1. Provide support, education, and social opportunities.
  2. Sponsor organized activities for children in the community.
  3. Raise and donate funds to support family-centered community projects.

Who We Are Today!

The Lake Saint Louis Mothers Club (LSLMC) is an organization for both "Career" and "Stay at Home" Mothers, and their families living in Lake Saint Louis.

Our organization is a not-for-profit and raises money through fundraising events throughout the year. The Holiday Home Tour and Nite at the Races are just two examples of fundraising events which allows us to enrich the lives of children and families. Over the years we have been responsible for thousands of dollars donated to the Lake Saint Louis community. Each year the club donates funds and purchases equipment to benefit a wide range of groups and individuals in our community.

Monthly Meetings
Club meetings are  held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the LSLCA Clubhouse Ballroom. The monthly meetings are a great opportunity to get involved, find out what is planned in the community for the upcoming year, and an excellent way to make friends. Please contact our President about joining us for our next meeting. All Lake Saint Louis mothers are welcome!

Weekly Playgroup
We have a weekly playgroup that meets on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for preschool aged children and activities for school aged children. Please call Andrea Crislip 314.479.0306 to get the latest info on where to meet and if there is a special theme for the day.
